A subgenre of post-hardcore and emo that emerged in the mid-2000s, characterized by a mix of heavy breakdowns, pop-punk melodies, and electronic elements. Scenecore is often associated with a particular fashion style and attitude, featuring neon colors, skinny jeans, and haircuts with bangs covering one eye.
