Rakugo

Rakugo is a form of Japanese comedy storytelling that originated in the 17th century. It involves a single performer sitting on a cushion and using only a fan and a hand towel as props. The performer tells humorous stories, often with a moral lesson, in a distinctive style that involves changing voices and facial expressions. Rakugo is still popular in Japan today and has even gained a following in other countries.
