Technical deathcore is a subgenre of metalcore that combines the complex and intricate instrumentation of technical death metal with the breakdown-heavy song structures and hardcore punk-influenced vocals of metalcore. It typically features fast, technical guitar riffs, intricate drumming, and aggressive vocals that alternate between guttural growls and high-pitched screams, often with lyrics focused on personal struggles, social issues, or political commentary.
