Jangle Rock

Jangle rock is a broader term that encompasses any rock music that features a jangly guitar sound, including jangle pop, but also including other genres such as folk rock, indie rock, and power pop. Jangle rock can be characterized by its use of clean, ringing guitar tones, often played on a Rickenbacker or similar guitar, and a focus on melody and harmony.
