Umea Hardcore

Umea Hardcore is a subgenre of hardcore punk that originated in the city of Umea, Sweden in the 1990s. It is characterized by its fast and aggressive sound, with heavy use of distorted guitars and shouted vocals. Bands such as Refused and AC4 helped popularize the genre, which has since spread to other parts of Europe and the United States.
